Ergotech, a leading manufacturer in the field of impact and vibration reducing safety products since 1985 has provided positive protection for the individual against pain and fatigue associated with Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI).
Employee hand and foot injuries currently cost employers billions of dollars annually in compensation payments, employee absenteeism, decreased productivity and quality control slippage. In human terms - self esteem, family relationships, quality of life and so forth - the costs are incalculable. As the work population ages the price tag will climb even higher, particularly in a work environment where employees are subject to direct impact, continuous pressure or vibration, repetitive hand and wrist movements or prolonged standing.
Studies show that vibration, shock and impact are major contributors to a whole host of musculoskeletal injuries. Even a single act of standing for an extended period on a concrete floor can be detrimental to many parts of the body. Ergotech's shock absorbing Sorbothane insoles and heel inserts are designed to reduce the pain and stress for mobile or stationary workers who spend long hours on their feet. The Sorbothane insoles/inserts - which are accepted by the American Podiatric Medical Association - remain with the employee in all areas of the plant reducing the incidence of foot and back pain.
Ergotech is proud to have incorporated Sorbothane exclusively in its' industrial products for over 15 years.
